The Announcement feature will allow the host/presenter to publish an in-room announcement for all the users inside the room to see for a certain duration that can be set by their preference. In addition, it also displays a Lower Third at the bottom left if the event has started.

Creating Announcements



  1. Click the Toggle Chat button at the upper right-hand (stripe)

  2. Below the chat headers click the + button next to the "Create your first announcement" 

  3. You will then see the Announcement button appear on the upper right portion to get the announcement creation panel
    1. At the top, you get the list of saved announcements. If you previously saved an announcement, then click this dropdown box to select and send an announcement. 
      To delete a saved announcement, select it from the dropdown and click the delete button
    2. The textbox under the header "Announcement" is where you type or copy/paste the announcement to be made
    3. Select a color or keep the default (Black)
    4. Select or type the time to keep the announcement lower third displayed
    5. If you are planning to save it instead of sending it, click Save instead, otherwise click Send.
  4. Click the SEND button.


You can show only one announcement at a time. If another host/presenter posts an announcement it will replace the previous announcement(s). 

You MUST start the event so your attendees see the announcement appearing as a Lower Third.
