Please follow the simple instructions below to set up your microphone. Please note that USB microphones might operate differently. Refer to your microphone manual for details.


Windows 10

  1. Click on the Start button

  2. Click on Control Panel

  3. Click Hardware and Sound 
  4. Click on Adjust system volume. 

Note that on most computers running Windows 10 you can also access the volume controls directly from the task tray, by clicking on the small speaker icon.


These versions of Windows allow you to adjust the volume from each application individually from the Volume Mixer. Therefore, you need to ensure that both 'Speakers' and the 'Webinato Desktop Application' that you are using to access the conference room are not muted or turned down too far. In the image below the two important controls are highlighted in red. To access the Volume Mixer in Windows 10 right-click on the speaker icon and choose Open Volume Mixer.


 


Mac OS X 

  1. Click on the Apple button in the upper left corner of the screen

  2. Open System Preferences 
  3. Click on the Sound icon inside the System Preferences window
  4. The Sound Preferences pane will open
  5. The master volume slider is at the bottom, as is a check-box to mute sound. Ensure that the sound is not muted and that the volume slider is not turned down all of the ways.
